Nude Lipstick Perfection by Charlotte Tilbury!

I only recently did a post all about my favourite nude lipsticks and was content that they were all at the top of their game until a new love came into my life. Charlotte Tilbury’s K.I.S.S.I.N.G Lipstick in Nude Kate is by far the nicest nude lipstick to ever grace my lips.

Firstly, let’s just take a minute to admire the sheer beauty of the packaging. Who knew something so small and  inanimate  could stop me in my tracks?! Well actually makeup tends to do this to me from time to time but it would want to be a hell of a good one to get my heart a fluttering!!

For me the packaging and feel of this lipstick reminds me of an old fashioned one that a rich 1950’s filmstar would have in her perfectly bejeweled clutch but yet the colour itself has a really rock chick feel to it. Old glam with a rock chick streak!!!

This lipstick is named after Kate Moss, a dear friend and client of Charlotte. This lipstick is the epitome of Kate Moss! Sophisticated but with a modern edginess about it.

The colour is 100% a true nude. There is nothing pink about it nor is it in any way sheer. Charlotte describes this as a “cashmere blanket for the lips” and this is just what it is. It feels like cashmere on the lips as it is so comfortable to wear. It’s subtle sheen makes it the perfect lipstick……not too matte and not too glossy either allowing you to have that sexy pout that all your friends will be envious of!

Nude lipstick can be difficult to wear and not many of us can get away with what I like to refer to as the “foundation pout” but with this lipstick there is no need to worry about that. The beige/brown tone  makes this very versatile and will definitely suit alot of different skintones.

My favourite thing about this lipstick is there is actually some coverage to it and so if your lips are less than perfect this will definitely make them look more perfected and even in colour. Can you tell I am in love???
