Scent Stash – His and Hers Favourite Perfume

Have you ever got a whiff of someones perfume that instantly brings you back to a place, time or person? Our sense of smell is so powerful that it can effect your mood and state of mind in so many ways. When we get it right though, a perfume can make you feel absolutely amazing.

Today, I want to share with you some of my all time favourite scents. These are ones I wear for all occassions and never set me wrong. Wether you want to treat yourself or a loved one I have something for everyone. And lads, don’t forget V Day is on it’s way. I have no doubt you will get extra brownie points if you rock up with one of these and a single red rose. Just don’t tell her I sent you!

Oh, and ladies. As if it wasn’t enough to give you some new perfumes for your lust list. I am also including some of my other half’s favourites too. You too can impress the opposite sex this V Day.

Shhh , don’t tell him though! You will love them for yourself, just as much as for him. I wear his all the time!

I am going to keep the descriptions below short. I could literally ramble all day.

For the ladies

Elie Saab Le Parfum

€40 for 30ml EDP here. check below for a 30% off code for Roches.

That’s right. You will get this for €28!!

An absolute classic and one I repurchase over and over again. This is my sophisticated perfume. You know that perfume that you put on when you need an extra boost of confidence or need to feel strong and put together?! This is the scent I choose on days like that.

The notes include orange blossom, jasmine, cedarwood. It is quite woody with a touch of floral. So classy!

Marc Jacobs Daisy

€50 (€35 with code) for 100  EDT again from Roches .

This is an old favourite of mine. There are now so many different variations to the Daisy range but I am a huge fan of the classic.

This is a playful fragrance. This suits those with a free spirit and someone who likes to have fun. No age limit.

It is quite fruity with notes of wild berries but also has a beautiful Jasmine and sandalwood undertone making it very elegant too.

Boss The Scent for Her

€59 (€41.3) for 30ml EDP here

Hands down my absolute favourite for the warmer months. I went through 2 bottles of this last year.

This is fresh, vibrant and everyone that smells it falls in love with it instantly.

Notes of peach, Freshia and Osmanthus Flower make this the perfect Spring/Summer scent.

Coco Chanel Mademoiselle

€68 for 35ml EDP from Boots

Again, another classic and one for all ages. I have never found another perfume like this. It is so unique. I don’t find this overpowering but the smell is so distinct that people will know exactly what you are wearing in one sniff!

Notes include orange, jasmine, rose and patchouli . Again, sweet but sensual.

Can you see a trend?? I do love my jasmine, orange scents.

Viktor and Rolf Flower Bomb

€66 for 30ml from Boots

Floral and flirthy is how I would describe this must have.

With notes of bergamot, tea, jasmine, fressia and other delicious floral goodness this is one for all ages. I have yet to meet someone who isn’t a fan of this.

Paco Rabanne Lady Million

Currently €64 for 50ml EDP on Boots

This is floral, yet woody. This scent means business but with a fun side to it. The people that love this scent tend to be fun and vivacious but with a drive and determination behind those sweet eyes. You know the ladies I am talking about right?

Neroli, Bitter Orange, Orange, Raspberry , Honey and Jasmine are only a few of the intriguing notes included in this beautiful perfume.

For the guys

Creed Aventus

€210 for 50ml EDP

Definitely not the cheapest but most definitely one of the best!

This scent is for those guys who has some class and like to dress to impress.

Notes of Bergamot and blackcurrant give it that fruity scent while musk and oakmoss allows this to be appropriate for all ages.

One of the best I have smelt (and tried) to date.

Tom Ford Neroli Portofino

€245 for 50ml EDP from Brown Thomas

Wow, another expensive one but one of my favourite unisex scents.

This is not for everyone though. It has a very distinct and sometimes strong scent that may not be for everyone.

It is a difficult one to explain. It is floral but with a woody note. Very elegant and a classic choice but only if you enjoy the smell.

Acqua Di Parma Colonia

€116 for 100ml EDC from Brown Thomas

This is such a traditional scent. I have no idea why. But this scent reminds me of something one of those handsome men, dressed in suits with a pocket watch would wear. You will understand when you smell it.

It is quite floraly but the under notes of sandalwood and patchouli gives this a calming and elegant feeling.

Dior Sauvage

€79 for a 60ml EDP from Brown Thomas

This is totally different to any of the above. This is much more fruity and almost a little spicy. Its gorgeous and lovely for every day wear I think.

Notes include Vanilla, Bergamot and Amber.

The Wrap Up

Wow, I never realised how expensive perfumes are. But aren’t they worth it? I am such a lover of so many different perfumes.

These are just some of our absolute favourites. We could probably list another 10 more! But, for now I will leave you with these.

So, tell us. What is your favourite scent and will you be adding any of these to your shopping basket any time soon??

Be sure to check a few stockists for the cheapest prices but any of the ones. I love a good bargain and perfume is always something that you can find on special. For the ones I mentioned which are available from Roches you can use the code VDay30 for 30% off (not an affiliate code). What a super saving.

If you are curious about what Body Creams I am currently loving you can check out my recent blog post here.

Thanks for popping by and I hope you enjoy exploring some new perfumes.
