Too Faced Peach Oil Lip Gloss

You’ve probably noticed that I love nothing more than a good lip gloss. However, there are days when the uber sticky, hair grabbing sort just doesn’t do it for me! Those days I want something glossy, nourishing but still quiet natural looking. Enter the Too Faced Creamy Peach Oil Lip Glosses.

These little beauts not only smell and taste (yep I licked my lips) delish but they are also very nourishing. They also give a lovely touch of colour.

These are definitely not the most pigmented of products so if that is what you are looking for then these are not for you.

They also don’t last as well as some stickier glosses but for what they are they do have a decent stay time.

One other complaint I have about these is that the pigment can tend to separate when they are not applied to dry lips. Oil and water don’t mix as we know and I think this is what happens with these.

These for me are a thicker version of a lip oil. They don’t have the look of an oil but they definitely do have the feeling of one. They look more like a gloss and remind me very much of the NYX Butter Gloss which are some of my favourites.

I find my lips are always in great nick after using them. They do contain peach oil, coconut oil and some vitamin E which will definitely help keep the lips smooth.

I really do enjoy these for every day use, particularly when I apply them to dry lips.

There are eight shades available in the range and they all tend to veer on the peachy, pink side of things. The shades do scream Spring/Summer however because of the amazing moisturisng qualities they would be brilliant for the colder months.

These will set you back €19 per gloss and are available in Debenhams and on the Debenhams website.

My favourites shades of the ones I have in my collection are (from left to right below) Peach Fuzz, Papa Don’t Peach, Pure Peach, Peach,Please and Poppin’ Peach.

I would rate these 4 out of 5 loosing some marks for the lack of shade range and also the pigment separation.

What would you rate these? Have you tried them yet or will you be rushing out to buy them any time soon? Let me know your thoughts below.

Hi Anita, thank you for your honest review. I appreciate how you presented the pros and the cons. I spotted my favourite colour even before I saw the name – Papa don’t Peach – as an 80’s music lover, I appreciated the Madonna reference! 5 stars for the review 🙂
